Dr. Jason Blasenak
Dr. Blasenak is a practicing emergency physician, Board Certified, and residency training in Emergency Medicine with 16 years of experience. Dr. Blasenak brings a diverse background of experience including both clinical and management in emergency medicine and urgent care. He has served as the past Director of Hillcrest Hospital Emergency Center in Simpsonville, SC.He also has served as clinical faculty of the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Blasenak has received several honors in his career including his election as Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Blasenak has experienced firsthand the mistreatment of chronic psychiatric conditions in various Emergency Departments throughout the Southeast and decided that to effect change he would open his own ketamine clinic to treat the patients he was unable to help while working in the Emergency Department. He is a married and a father of 2 who has resided in the Upstate for the last 15 years.
Laura Blasenak
Ms. Blasenak has had a strong desire to help people since she was in high school working each summer as a camp counselor. This desire to help people in an early age, lead her to become a nurse.
Since 2007 she has worked as a nurse throughout many of the hospitals and medical clinics in the Upstate including management as Assistant Nursing Director and Chief Medical Officer.
She is excited to continue working in her nursing capacity to help people at Upstate Ketamine & Wellness Center.
She is the proud mother of 2 children, ages 10 and 8, and stays very busy keeping up with the children’s many activities. In her free time she enjoys gardening, boating, and reading.
Lauren silver, NP
Lauren brings a diverse background to patient care with a background in emergency nursing and alternative medicine. During her time in the ER, she saw that medications had a time and place, but weren’t always the best option for all chronic conditions. This led her to seek out alternative options and explore regenerative medicine and natural remedies. Her approach ensures comprehensive care for each individual by integrating holistic therapies with evidence-based medicine to help patients achieve their health goals.
